I dined at Bacaro for the first time last night. My boyfriend and I had dinner at Bacaro on New Year’s Eve as the restaurant is situated right next to where the fireworks location is. We had a phenomenal meal here. All of the staff (hostesses, food runners, our server) were incredibly kind and helpful. I am still drooling over our entrees. For an appetizer, we had the wood grilled octopus which was so yummy served with these white beans and spinach. For my entree, I had the pasta con funghi. The flavors in that dish were unlike anything I’ve had before. It is served with egg and truffle and you mix it all up into this utter deliciousness. Not pictured, I also ordered a side of crusted chicken for some added protein, which hit the spot. My boyfriend enjoyed the Cioppino, especially the scallops. For dessert we shared the warm rustic crostata with apples and espresso. Our server informed us the desserts are all made to order from scratch, which was lovely to hear as you don’t come across that often.

One of the very best dining experiences in Providence! From-scratch Italian dishes made to order. From high-end charcuterie to grilled pizza, Bacaro has it all.

Had dinner for my birthday and it was perfect. We had a large party and Josh took care of everything, from appetizers to wine. And the food was amazing. Well-prepared and presented, with great flavor. A good variety of dishes, do something for everyone. Defintely worth a visit.

Food was excellent and we had a great table upstairs by the window. Comfortably fit a party of 10!

My partner and I dined at Bacaro last night, and we were genuinely impressed by both the exceptional food and outstanding service. We sampled several tapas along with a couple of entrées, and every dish showcased remarkable quality. Providence offers countless Italian dining options, but Bacaro stands out as one of the most authentic. When my entrée arrived, the server shared a thoughtful note from the chef with tips on how best to enjoy the dish, a detail that truly enhanced the meal. I ordered the Pasta con Funghi, served with a lightly fried egg that acts as a natural cream sauce. This is classic Italian technique at its finest: no heavy cream, yet the sauce was luxuriously creamy, highlighting the integrity of the ingredients. I rarely write online reviews, but Bacaro exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to return!

Great Italian restaurant, especially during Water Fire! They let us stay late, food was great, will be back! Even the parking attendant Vincent gave me a book!

One can create a custom charcuterie board with a large selection of cured meat and cheeses. Their flat beard pizza was delicious. We took our server's suggestion on some of the meats and cheese and he nailed it. All the staff were attentive and friendly. An interesting asp8was ordering dessert along with you order since th ey're made from scratch. Their main menu looked delectable as well as I saw dishes coming out of the kitchen.

Atmosphere was wonderful our first time here. Service was great as well. They were able to fit us in even though we didn't make a reservation on a very busy Saturday night. The pasta dishes I would highly recommend. I do not eat meat but my husband who does did not like his crispy pork tenderloin. He said it had no flavor. Despite that I still say it's worth the visit. They have a lovely menu and much to choose from. I recommend you make a reservation before you go. They do have an outdoor patio where we ate on a beautiful evening even though the music at the restaurant was being drowned out by the horrible music being played across the park we had a lovely meal.
